Do you like The Doors? Danzig? PLEASE READ

Hello ladies & gents! Guitarist here.. I'm looking to start up an old school rock band with a touch of heavy metal. Something like The Doors meets Danzig but a sound that can be uniquely our own. Think 75% late 60's psychedelic Rock, 25% late 80's Heavy Metal. Perhaps a little mix of old school goth-rock/post-punk & blues but hopefully you get the idea! Let's face it. Music like this just isn't happening these days. My goal is to start up a band that resembles a heavier version of The Doors, but not a carbon copy of course. Musicians needed for start-up project: - Lead Singer - Lead Guitarist - Bassist - Keyboardist - Drummer Age isn't a huge concern for me, but I greatly favor musicians that are between mid 20's to mid 30's (sorry if that's a deal breaker for you). I stay in the south side but don't mind doing some traveling if need to. Goals - I'll keep it simple. Start up a band that plays originals. Rehearsals at least once a week, perhaps Sunday being the most ideal day of the week. Gather up some original tunes (I believe everyone in this project should have room to write & critique). Record albums & maybe play shows in the Chicagoland area (once the band is tight & established.. & hopefully don't have to deal with this covid bs). Not looking to "make it" big or do major touring, I want to stay local but be active when it comes to recording music. If this sounds interesting to you, send me an email & we can take it from there. I know it's going to take a good while until I/(we) find the right musicians, but it's worth the fight.
