Roofing contractors / Public Adjusters working primarily in Northeastern Illinois need technicians to assist with or perform on-site visual inspections of damaged properties for insurance claims. Requirements: Able to mount 2+ story buildings and move across steep slopes Must be bonded/insured Have own reliable transportation and safe equipment Able to take quality pictures and write up basic roof report Adept at using technology / apps Reliable, responsive, flexible Professional presentation with strong interpersonal and communication skills Prefer at least 6 months+ experience mounting and walking steep/high roofs Prefer property/roof inspection experience but we’re willing to train Responsibilities: Conduct on-site inspection of roofing systems (mostly residential, some commercial) Take quality pictures and write up basic roof report Compile and transmit photos and info to Inspector in timely manner Perform tasks as directed by Inspector Pay: Competitive and negotiable depending on difficulty/complexity/time Most inspections take less than one hour Will pay trip charge if technician is on site but inspection cancelled If interested Please respond via email with brief descriptions of experience, skills, and employment history Please indicate you are responding to this ad in subject line
