Garbage Collector / Hauler (Truck or Trailer Required) We are a door-to-door trash collection company, looking for someone to collect trash from our subscribers at our newest location. You will be responsible for driving around the condo complex and collecting garbage bags from specific units, which will be provided to you on a spreadsheet. Trash bags are not allowed to be left outside of the doors, so you will be knocking at each subscriber’s household and collecting the bags directly from the client. Trash bags will then be taken to the onsite dumpster. You must have a truck or trailer for transporting the garbage bags to the dumpster (the complex is large). This is a physically demanding task, involving carrying heavy loads and climbing up and down flights of stairs. Payment is bi-weekly. You will need to have a valid driver's license and will work as an independent contractor. You will be issued a 1099 for tax purposes each year. This is a part time gig / job. Hours will be every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6pm-finish (usually done by 8pm). This equates to less than 6 hours of work per week. This complex is a new location for us, so there will be fewer subscribers to start. We expect subscriptions at this location to reach around 50 units. At 50 units, you would make $500 per month, for around 24 hours of work per month. That is just over $20 per hour.
