Spokane Parks & Recreation: Dwight Merkel Sports Complex • Perfect for college student • Annual 9 month seasonal position • Former student employees often comment: A great job to have while going to school PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION 2 POSITIONS: Sports facility grounds maintenance • Must be a enrolled college student with a at least 2 years to go • $14.50 an hour • Have valid driver’s license • 18 years of age or older • Able to lift 50 Lbs or more • Work independently with minimal supervision • Able to work in a variety of weather conditions • Knowledge of softball / baseball and or soccer a plus DUTIES: • Secure & lockup facilities • Softball & baseball tournament preparation • Mowing • Weed whacking • Misc. ground maintenance • Some janitorial DAYS & HOURS: • NEED TO FILL 2 POSITIONS • POSITION 1 - During playing season Wednesday, Thursday, 3pm to close. Saturday & Sunday 6am to varies. Hours range from 4 to 7 hrs depending on scheduled events • POSITION 2 - During playing season 3pm to close. Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Hours range from 4 to 7 hrs depending on scheduled events • Off season, March & November depending on scheduled events could just be coming in & locking up. Minimum of 3 hrs paid • Mandatory 13 week layoff for months of December - February. Please respond with school status & some history
