Doing a 5 song ep. Have released one, and another is being released in February. Current vocalist isn't currently available for the 3rd. So I'm looking around. I don't have much money but I can pay $75 a song flat fee, no royalties (There aren't any anyways). I write all the melodies and lyrics. I'm looking for someone that is detail minded to copy the vocal demos I will supply. Must have a decent enough home set up to record the vocal on your end. I just need a wav file.
What I'm looking for vocally is a cross between someone that can be ethereal and haunting with a bit of a worn throaty country thing. Someone that can deliver some emotional connection with the material.
You will hear that sound on the videos.
What I'm not looking for is a Billy Holiday, Amy Winehouse approach, who are great but not what I'm after.
