New Horizons Woodworks is a rapidly growing custom cabinet and architectural woodworking company that specializes in large commercial projects such as medical facilities and schools. We pay the highest wages in the industry with lots of room for quick growth. Currently, we have an immediate opening for a Journeyman Fixture Builder/Cabinet Maker. Position Responsibilities: • Assembles CNC cut parts into basic plastic laminate cabinets • Identifies and collects specified parts and hardware prior to assembly • Verifies part dimensions to shop drawings with measurement tools • Fabricates custom cabinets, complex architectural fixtures and high-end custom woodworking according to shop drawings and specifications • Sets up and operates woodworking tools such as drills, routers, table saws, panel saws, pneumatic power tools, clamps, etc. • Assures quality of product is acceptable and meets shop drawing specifications Basic Qualifications: • 5+ years of cabinet fabrication and custom commercial fixture experience • Highly proficient with reading and interpreting shop drawings and specifications • Strong working knowledge of woodworking techniques • Extensive experience with plastic laminate fabrication techniques, including conducting lay ups and seaming laminate • Solid basic math skills, creative problem-solving skills, highly detail oriented • Self-starter, able to work well independently and within a team • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Must be able to lift items between 50-100lbs. and spend long periods of time on your feet We offer an incredible benefits package including: • Medical, Vision & Dental (Employer pays 90%) • Life insurance • Retirement Plan • Annual Profit-Sharing Bonuses • Corporate Gym Membership • Paid time off No phone calls, please.
