Entry-level gardener position for a licensed recreational cannabis production facility in Corvallis, OR. Full time position requires a hard working individual that is reliable and trustworthy. Learn how to grow cannabis for a large scale facility. Knowledge of cannabis cultivation is NOT required. You will be working with a small team of gardeners to care for a Tier II licensed cannabis production facility. Training will be provided and advancement opportunities are available. Requirements: -Background check -Marijuana Workers Permit -Reliable transportation -Ability to push, pull, lift 50+ lbs regularly with or without help -Must be 21+ years old Duties included, but are not limited to: 1. Cleaning and sanitizing grow areas/equipment 2. Setting up grow trays, irrigation, water reservoirs 3. Raising, lowering, and replacing lights/fixtures 4. Mixing nutrient water, watering cannabis 5. Spraying plants for pest and disease maintenance (Non-toxic spray) 6. Propagating cannabis (Cloning) 7. Transplanting cannabis plants 8. Moving plants 9. Harvesting plants 10. Reporting details to OLCC/Garden Manager Preferred experience: -Basic gardening knowledge (vegetables, hops, fruit trees, flowers, etc.) -Experience reporting/recording daily job duties & completion times -Basic knowledge of Oregon cannabis laws -Experience working a physically demanding job -Ability to work on a small team or as an individual -Diligence completing repetitive tasks in a timely manner Due to risk of contamination, strict sanitation standards must be maintained. Protective clothing will be provided and required for building entry. Strict security standards are also maintained. We are a non-smoking facility. Cannabis consumption is not allowed anywhere on the premises. We also ask that employees do not have contact with other cannabis grow sites while employed with us due to contamination and infestation risks. Please send resume and cover letter
