Just barely bought this online brand new, and it arrived less than a week ago...Can’t seem to return it, so I’m selling it because I decided to just run my old canister filter instead.
Works great, as it should. About as fully loaded as these hang-on-back filters come. The filter is made by Seachem, pump itself is made by Sicce, an Italian company that is known for their high quality stuff. Aside from Aquaclear filters, these are as good as it gets. Has a surface skimmer built-in, adjustable flow control at two different points, telescopic intake tube for deeper applications, quiet internal motor that primes itself automatically, maintenance indicator, convenient holder that clips your aquarium heater directly to the intake tube for better temperature control throughout your tank. Removable media basket, and I’ll throw in whatever media I’ve got as well.
Flow rate is 250GPH at full bore. Awesome unit, but not ideal for my bedroom- I just can’t stand the sound of trickling water when evaporation occurs and the water level in my tank gets lower.
