About the role At our Jackson, WI facility we manufacture Dry Goods and produce hundreds of different products for Kerry and our retail customers. We have an immediate opening for a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician. The schedule is Monday- Friday 2pm - 1Opm! Key responsibilities You'll work with the Maintenance team to complete building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting and installation, fulfillment of assigned work orders and unforeseen repairs in a timely fashion. You'll follow good manufacturing practices to maintain inventory, preventative maintenance, good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations. Important areas of operations you'll work on (but are not limited to): • Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. • Performs root cause and final fix analysis, as well as regular preventative maintenance. • Clean and lubricate shaft s, bearing, gears, and other parts of machinery • Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic steam, pneumatic equipment • Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other related equipment Building maintenance including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep. Qualifications and skills Must Haves! • 3-5 years of General Maintenance Experience. • Electrical experience/skills • Experience working in a manufacturing environment • High school diploma or GED is required • Microsoft Office experience • Possess and demonstrate basic technical knowledge of some or all of the following: o Welding/Fabrication o Hydraulics/Pneumatics o Building maintenance o Electrical/Electronics/PLC a Plus o Lockout/Tagout o Computerized Maintenance Management Systems Bonus!! • Experience working in a food and or beverage manufacturing environment • Associate Degree in relevant field • journeyman license electrical or maintenance Job Type: Full-time Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
