Come and start your career at the City of Madison as a Streets Public Works Maintenance Seasonal! In this position you will perform a variety of tasks such as collect, lift and load various solid waste materials (e.g., refuse, bulk, brush, recyclables and leaves); perform routine asphalt and concrete patching; perform snow and ice removal work using hand tools and snow removal vehicles and equipment; routine building maintenance; and other related duties as assigned. This position begins in April and runs through the end of November. Hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a wage of $15.48 per hour. Free CDL driving training is provided by the Streets division.
