Now hiring Warehouse Associates! A local distribution center in Salem, OR is hiring warehouse associates to join their team. The position requires working in the back of a semi trailer and unloading product on to conveyor belts at a consistent pace. This is an entry level position, with no previous warehouse experience required. People with experience could be considered for a lead position. Pay: $15 per hour Shifts: Shift 1 - Tuesday through Friday 5am to 3:30pm Work Environment: A relatively clean warehouse. There are large fans on the ceiling, and fans that low into the trailers, but other than that it is not a temperature controlled environment. Job Duties Load and unload trucks Move material within the facility and from the loading platform by carrying, pushing, rolling or operating hand trucks Sorting, staging, and transporting products.
