Full Job Description: Scientific Living is a supplier of dietary supplement and functional food ingredients. To accommodate our growing operations, we are looking to hire a Part Time /Full Time (Preferred) Warehouse / Logistics / Driver Associate to support our logistics team and ensure our customers are happy with a smooth and timely shipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Pick, Select, Prepare and Complete orders for outbound shipments including (selecting, packing, palletizing, shrink wrapping, labeling, shipping) • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store) • Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped. • Recording materials received or shipped on computer. • Counting of physical inventory. Participate in inventory cycle counts. • Moving items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas. • Marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method. • Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. • Utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move products around warehouse racks and/or load pallets onto truck trailers. • Driving to local customers for order drop offs. • Maintains and ensures warehouse is organized, accessible, clean, and follows prescribed safety regulations. • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers. • Ensure that daily inspections of equipment are completed. • Perform other duties and directed by the Warehouse Supervisor/Lead. Qualifications: • Ability to lift 65 pounds (Required) • Be able to work in a fast pace warehouse and work environment. • Good organizational and time management skills. Must be detailed oriented. • Team player with others as a team. • Ability to read and write proficiently in English – MUST have good communication skills. • Computer proficient –Typing skills & Excel experience preferred. • Must have reliable transportation and be punctual. • Should be willing to 'wear different hats' and enjoy performing various duties. • Familiar with and able to interpret packing slips, enter into the computer the correct information, to acknowledge receipt of the goods into the purchase order and processing database. • Must be able to fill out bills of lading and be familiar with various forms that are used and required by the major freight carriers.
