Urban Complex GC, LLC specializing in apartment renovations. Now hiring for new projects in the Bellevue/Kirkland Market. Applicants must have carpentry/construction industry experience (multifamily preferred) to be considered for this position. Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, minimally liability insurance, smartphone, and your own hand tools. A willingness to travel to various jobs sites in the Bellevue area. Requires a good understanding of quality finishes, commercial construction and trade knowledge with strong general repair skills. Requires willingness to learn according to contractor’s style and expectations. A keen eye for detail and physical stamina are greatly valued. We are a very solid, fast growing company. Daily work responsibilities may include: • Demo and Install of sinks, cabinets, light fixtures, and kitchen and bath hardware • Measuring Jobs and picking up materials • Basic plumbing, replacing toilets, garbage disposals, angle stops, etc • Tile installation (Backsplash and tub tiling) • Painting, caulking, sealing • Finish carpentry (installation of baseboard, casing, cabinets, and doors) • Light electrical, remove and install fixtures, install GFIs •Remove and install appliances Demo / haul off • Framing • Hang drywall • Drywall mud and texturing • Physical Labor (able to consistently lift 30+ pounds) Qualifications: • Good communication with others, organized and self-motivated • Advanced problem-solving skills • Basic math skills, able to read and write and provide written info when asked • Attention to detail, complete all work with quality in mind • Highly skilled, motivated diligent worker • Proven experience in the construction trades • Technical knowledge and strong general repair skills in remodeling • Must have your own reliable vehicle, and be able to pick up construction materials • Must have your own tools • Must be able to pass a rigorous background check Job Type: Full-time Send your resume, email address and cell number when applying for this position.
