Job Summary · Yard operations · Making deliveries to customer job sites while adhering to all safety procedures Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities · Responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders · Candidate will be responsible for receiving and shipping material orders · Perform inventory checks on all receivables · Maintaining the warehouse in a clean and professional manner · Communicate and cooperate with Supervisors & coworkers · Maintain Forklift Safety Checks · Proper lifting of packages weighing approx. 25 lbs. · Perform routine inspection of vehicle and supplies to ensure road safety · Plan route to and from jobsites and adjust for traffic and/or construction · Load inventory on truck and unload at customer site · Pull orders to match manifest; ensure that manifests are complete and accurate · Responsible for unloading deliveries and loading shipments · Prepare and maintain records in accordance with company policies and procedures · Receive shipments from vendors at warehouse · Place finished goods away in the right locations within warehouse · Clean up including sweeping, trash duties, organizing materials, checking stock items · Counting parts and working with inventory control · Placement of raw material/sheets of metal onto warehouse rack spaces utilizing forklift · Move inventory around within the warehouse for production purposes Work Environment · Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting and maneuvering material or equipment · Regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes Minimum Qualifications · Current forklift license/ prior experience driving forklifts in warehouse · Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods · Must be twenty one years of age · Must pass Drug Test · Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including being on feet for extended periods of time, stretch, crouch and with no physical limitations · Clean MVR/must have at minimum a Class C Driver License Education and Experience · HS Diploma or GED required. · Minimum of 2 years of experience · prefer candidates who have good people skills and like talking to customers Must be fluent in English, oral, reading and writing; Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus
