Local pool construction company is seeking a Superintendent to start right away. The applicant needs to be experienced in all aspects of pool construction (layout, excavation, plumbing, gunite, finishes etc) Must be able to manage crews as well as interact with clients. Salary based on EXPERIENCE. Will provide a work vehicle to be used throughout the work day. We have an extremely large portfolio of projects coming up and need to hit the ground running on all cylinders! Essential Duties • Oversee and manage phases of the installation process, taking digital photos throughout, and responsible for ensuring completion of all required inspections. • Manages and schedules sub-contractive labor. • Self-starter and demonstrates initiative. • Excellent organizational skills and time management skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Spanish Speaking is a plus! • Effective problem-solving skills, ability to handle adversity. • To proactively identify potential problems within production and find a resolution to minimize damage/risk or possibly create unforeseen opportunities for gain. • Demonstrates time management and organizational skills. Qualifications • Building or Swimming Pool Industry experience required • Ability to read blueprints required. • Three to five years of experience in construction or related field required. • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills • Strong customer service orientation with a professional and courteous demeanor • Demand excellent quality in work • Ability to delegate and follow-up • Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the office, vehicles, and customer work-sites • Must be able to show up to appointments on time • Must have reliable transportation.
