Join us to remove invasive vines around the Mount Vernon Trail and save some trees.
Volunteers will remove invasive vines from trees along the Mount Vernon Trail. These vines kill trees by smothering leaves, creating rot and weighing down branches. This also increases the risk that a tree will fall on a trail user.
Volunteers are needed to assist with cutting, pulling, bagging and removing vines. No special skills are needed. We'll teach you how to help in just a few minutes.
