Cottage Gardens, Inc. Merchandising Division is looking for individuals to merchandise our line of trees, shrubs and roses in garden center departments located at Home Depot stores. This position is availabe in the greater Milwaukee, WI area (Grafton, Milwaukee, Franklin, Racine, West Allis, Wauwatosa, Menominee Falls, Waukesha, West Bend). This is a seasonal, part time position which begins immediately and runs through December. Hours range from 20 to 40 hours per week. Flexible hours and days are available, Mondays, one weekend day, and some holidays are required. We offer a competitive starting wage. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to earn extra income and who love plants and working outdoors. Responsibilities include assisting with unloading our plant deliveries, setting up and stocking tree, shrub and rose displays, and assisting staff with plant maintenance. Additional seasonal lines are merchandised, including Tropicals, succulents, pumpkins, flower bulbs and Christmas trees. Job Requirements: You will be required to work under all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain and snow. Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced customer service environment. Responsibilities will include lifting heavy plants; you must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly. Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable means of transportation. Plant knowledge and plant merchandising experience is beneficial but not required. Must be able to pass a background check. Please send resume or work history and contact information
