The company has been promoting a healthy urban forest while providing safe and professional tree services since 2004. Arbor MD is looking for an experienced tree climber to perform the duties of tree trimming and tree removal. Candidates must be experienced with modern climbing techniques and technical rigging. Experience in equipment and chainsaw maintenance preferred. Applicants should be familiar with industry standards for tree work. ISA Certified Arborist preferred. Must be able to pass a background check. This is a very physically demanding job, and employees will work in all weather conditions. Work will take place across the Greater Bay Area, with the majority of work in Cupertino and San Francisco. QUALIFICATIONS: - Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean DMV record - Tree climbing experience - Be physically fit and able to regularly lift 50 pounds - Have excellent communication skills and a positive team attitude - Must be able to hear verbal instructions from a distance - Stable, professional, and career-minded - Punctual and reliable - Self-motivated, responsible, and trustworthy - Dedicated to customer service and safety - Ability to follow complex directions - Enjoys learning new skills - Solution-oriented PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Certified arborist, or willingness to become a certified arborist - Conversational proficiency in Spanish TO APPLY: Please reply or contact Arbor MD Tree Care with a resume, a completed application, or a LinkedIn profile.
