Welcome to Menstrual March! Bringing free and reusable menstrual gear to ISU! WHAT: "Menstrual March" focuses on bringing reusuable and sustainable menstrual gear (menstrual cups and period underwear) to the ISU community at no cost to menstruating folx. These products are better for the planet due to their ability to be used as primary menstrual products for several years without contributing to the plastic waste that traditional pads and tampons produce. The up front expense of these products can be deterants to trying something new, so we are bringing them to you at no cost! WHERE AND WHEN: There will be tabling outside of Stevenson Hall (moved into the basement if weather conditions demand) on Mondays (3/1 and 3/15) 11:30AM to 2:30PM, and Thursdays (3/11 and 3/25) from 3:00PM to 6:00PM. There will also be a small selection of the Me Luna Cups for folx who can't make the tabling times in Student Health Services (during their normal hours) and at the School Street Pantry (during their usual Friday time slot). SIZING: With each of these products there are different sizes available. The linktree below will bring you to the sizing info! We will have a small selection of items for walk ups too! https://linktr.ee/CharleyKoenig COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS: Due to Covid-19, we ask that you wear a mask when coming to any of the tabling event or displays, maintain the reccommended 6 feet of social distancing from other people, and use the hand sanitizer and cleansing products at these locations. This event is open to all members of the ISU community including undergraduate students, graduate students, employees, non-tenure track faculty, tenure track faculty, administrative and professional staff.
