The Janitor/Custodian position will contribute towards the success of Huntington Beach Harley-Davidson. Under general supervision from an administrative superior, this position will be primarily responsible for maintaining the dealership cleanliness and appearance, performing custodial duties to include overall building/grounds maintenance and repair functions. Major Duties and Responsibilities Operations • Keeps the entire dealership and property in clean and orderly condition. • Performs any combination of the following duties: vacuuming, sweeping, wet and dust mopping, trash removal, restroom cleaning, vent cleaning, wall cleaning, window washing, high and low dusting, detail cleaning. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance. • Ability to show flexibility in response to change and adapt to and accommodate new methods and procedures. • Maintains lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs. • Other duties as deemed necessary by management which may include minor repairs and maintenance. Qualifications and Job Requirements: • 1 year custodial / janitorial experience in large retail facility required. • Valid driver's license. • Positive attitude. • Excellent Communication Skills, both verbal and written. • Pleasant and Professional Demeanor. • Good Work Ethic.
