30+ year Concrete Company looking for experienced finishers and form-setters. The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: * Understands and can complete task of setting forms for concrete construction. * Is proficient in proper placing of concrete. * Spreads concrete into inaccessible sections of concrete forms with rake or shovel. * Smooths, and shapes surfaces of freshly poured concrete. * Molds expansion joints and edges. * Finishes rough concrete surface with correct finish. * Removes rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces, and patches holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound. * Breaks up and repairs old concrete surfaces. * Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy construction projects; perform manual work in preparing surfaces for concrete. * Pour and/or shovel concrete into construction area. * Fine grade fill to grades given by foreman. * Excavate and fills trenches and ditches. * Maintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards. * Ensure equipment and tools are receiving the proper preventative maintenance of tools and equipment. * Material handling and storage. * Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials. * Ensure safety precautions are followed at all times.
