Joliet Teacher, Author To Discuss Viral Hate Crime With Students

PLAINFIELD, IL – Plainfield South High School will host motivational speaker Ernest Crim on Thursday as part of the school's Black History Month celebration. Crim, a social science teacher at Joliet Central High School, is the author of "Black History Saved My Life: How My Viral Hate Crime Led To An Awakening." Crim and his wife were the target of a hate crime that went viral, and he will talk about his life experiences that prepared him to respond to that event.
