PHILADELPHIA — At least seven people have been shot at a SEPTA station in North Philadelphia, according to police and news outlets The shooting occurred at about 2:50 p.m. at Broad Street and Olney Avenue near SEPTA's Olney Transportation Center and Albert Einstein Medical Center, NBC10 reports. Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw told media outlets victims ranged from 17 to 70 years old. According to Fox 29, six people were taken to Einstein for treatment and one person was taken to Temple University Hospital. Action News reports the victims are a 22-year-old man who was shot in the back; a 21-year-old man who was shot in the right leg; a 53-year-old man who was shot in the right leg; a 36-year-old woman who was shot in the right thigh; a 70-year-old man who was shot in the right thigh; and 17-year-old girl who was shot in the right arm Additionally, a 71-year-old man who was shot once in the stomach and multiple times in both legs and is in critical condition, Outlaw said. According to Outlaw, one person is in custody and two guns were found. However, she said police are working to find out if that person and those guns were involved in the shooting. Outlaw called the shooting brazen.
