Description
Our children need to get back in school. However the unions are holding this back, not the science, but the unions.
Since the teachers are not interested in going back to work, maybe the state should give vouchers to be used for private schools. Cut the funds to the government schools and allow parents to place their children in private schools. According to the State of California, we spend approximately $122,000 per child to educate K-12, which is about $10,100 per child per year. We know our children would receive a better education, look at California's rating at #37 out of 51, so from that alone we know we are not getting the best education possible. California is closer to the bottom than the top. Most private employers would fire the employee with such poor performance. Let's take back our education system, do what is best for our kids and put them in private schools.
