WARRINGTON, PA — Police in Warrington Township are asking for the public's help after a senior resident fell victim to a phone scam. An older adult in Warrington was the recent victim of a grandparent scam in which a caller claims that one of their grandchildren needs bail money or money for medical treatment, Warrington police said. The victim lost a substantial amount of money in the scam, police said. Police are asking residents in the area of Stump Road and Greenwood Terrace to check their security cameras for a gray sedan in the area between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12.
