One of Alaska’s premier mines located approximately 45 minutes from Fairbanks is seeking a reliable laborer knowledgeable in routine maintenance, repairs, and industrial type clean ups. Must be a self- starter with the ability to multitask. Experience with MSHA and OSHA is preferred. Must be able to lift and carry 70lbs and maintain a valid driver’s license. Duties and responsibilities include: Grounds/Facility Maintenance Small equipment/Machine checks and repairs Snow Removal and General Clean up Operate small equipment such as skid-steers, forklifts and loaders Operate hoists and cranes. Assist electricians by transporting parts and tools Perform equipment walk-around Inspect and operate equipment, and properly dispose of wastes. Wages start at $22/HR- This is a full time position with possible overtime.
