SAN JOSE, CA — Officers issued 45 citations and four 30-day vehicle in connection with sideshow activity in San Jose over the weekend, police said. In addition to speeding cars, the incidents involved gunfire according to the report. No injuries were reported according to NBC Bay Area. San Jose police will continue responding to reports of sideshow incidents as long as it has available resources, Sgt. Christian Camarillo said in a statement to Patch. "These events are large and can be dangerous to the public," Camarillo said. "When we respond we will enforce all applicable California vehicle code violations as well as our city's Municipal Code regarding spectator violations."
