Our church is looking for a part-time custodian to work Monday & Tuesday evenings. Minimum of 8-10 hours per week. Pay according to experience. Please send resume to be considered for this position. SPECIFIC DUTIES Custodian responsibilities include: Clean the buildings and grounds of the Church and the Children's Center campus. Clean & Sanitize the Children's Center daily, following the close of the Center program. Perform routine maintenance as directed by the Pastor and the Church Administrator. Be responsible for the security of the church campus when the church office is closed. Set up and break down meeting rooms as instructed by the Church Administrator. As instructed by the Church Administrator, open and close rooms on the church campus as required by groups using church space when the church office is closed. Deep clean Kitchen. Help set up and break down special events. PERSONAL TRAITS AND QUALIFICATIONS Must demonstrate: Ability to take direction. Ability to work independently once direction is given. Initiative within the parameters of the job description. Skills necessary to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, including use of tools. Dependability and trustworthiness. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. TIME REQUIREMENTS 1. The Custodian's job is a part-time, 12 month position.
