Pet Care Associate - Summer/Seasonal positions at Holiday Barn Pet Resorts Great summer jobs for high school and college students, especially for pre-vet students! What do Pet Care employees do at Holiday Barn? You have Fun! You get to enjoy taking care of our vacationing dogs and cats while their human families are on vacation. We are an energetic “pack” of pet lovers who spend their time at work playing with, feeding, exercising, hugging and keeping our guests’ accommodations sparkling clean. We are a resort, which means that we are busiest during the weekends, holidays and the summer months. Experience is not required; we will teach you about proper care and welfare of pets. Our only requirement is that you must be 16 years of age, responsible, energetic, a team player and a pet lover. We offer flexible options for shifts that are between 6:30 am and 10:00 pm, seven days a week. Average shifts are 4 to 8 hours. We have part time positions, 20-29 hours per week available. The pay for this position starts at $9.50 an hour. This workplace is typified as moderately physically demanding - lots of walking, dogs barking, lifting of pets up to 50lbs, handling active pets, working with cleaning chemicals, pet related allergens.
