North Plains / Hillsboro precision machine shop seeking a candidates for Parts Finishing / Assembly / and Beadblasting. We are looking to fill positions that are immediately available on the following shifts: Day shift - Monday thru Thursday, 5:45am to 4:15pm Swing shift - Mon thru Thurs, 4:45pm to 3:15am Premium pay offered and additional differential for Swing Shift. Opportunity to work overtime, if desired. Positions to start immediately. Responsibilities: - Finishing operations include deburring, tumbling, and material prep. - Assembly consists mainly of sheet metal and machined components. - Beadblasting of precision machined metal and plastic parts. - QC experience, lapping and polishing of precision machined products would be helpful Skill set: - Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but will provide training to the right candidate - Display good attention to detail - Able to read basic blueprints - Able to work with minimal supervision after the training period - Able to stand for entire duration of shift - Good communication skills (both verbal and written) - Have a mechanical inclination - Able to work from a scheduled manufacturing plan - Honest, dependable, and self-motivated - Work well in a team environment - Able to lift 25 pounds Willing to provide training to the right candidate. 4 day work week on day or swing shift (Mon-Thurs, 10 hrs/day).
