Fire & Safety Fire Extinguisher Service Technician Job Location: Twin Ports, NE Minnesota & NW Wisconsin Job Description We are searching for someone who is looking for a stable long-term position. If you consider yourself well organized, motivated, a morning person and are looking for to work independently in a growing company, this job may be what you are looking for. The Fire Extinguisher Service Technician requires driving a company vehicle to established accounts throughout the Twin Ports area. This job involves the service of fire extinguishers and other safety equipment. This is an hourly position requiring approximately 40-45 hours per week. The working hours generally fall between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. This position requires working out of a company van. Fire Extinguisher Service Technician Job Responsibilities • Professional service. • Perform maintenance and recertification of fire extinguishers and other safety equipment. • Promote all services to existing customers. Job Requirements • No experience necessary. We will train you for this position. • Basic mechanical aptitude is needed for this position (hand tools, drills, etc.) • “People Skills” are a plus. • Relatively clean Driving Record. • 90% of this job will be working out of a van and at customer locations. • Drug Free. Due to the nature of our clientele, we require all employees to undergo pre-employment drug testing and random drug testing. • Must be able to organize, prioritize. We will teach you how to do this. • Live in the Twin Ports area. • Due to the driving, in-and-out of the van, servicing, walking, training, etc, we recommend that the Applicant be in reasonable shape - lots of walking.
