Hello, Friends and Family Construction is a general contracting company that is located in Snohomish county. We are looking to hire a lead position to run our outdoor living division. This specific individual must have experience in building decks, covered areas, structures, pavilions, T&G work and running a crew! Scope of the Jobs: • Ability to run a crew and delegate work tasks in a timely manner • Lead level carpentry • High level competency with remodeling / carpentry tools and skills • Ability to read prints and scope - Math and measurement proficiency • Employee & trade management On-site and Off-site • Safety consciousness and ability to guide others in a safe workspace • Sub-contractor coordination, including oversite / line out subcontractors on job sites if needed. • Facilitates proper set up and tear down of home protection • Orchestrates safe & efficient demolition and disposal • Framing work • Overseeing and directing of workers • Assist with job timeline layout • Job site visits to review structure, job scope and pricing • Keeping communication with homeowners about changes and timelines • Assist in obtaining permits / onsite availability for inspections • Assist in defining cost savings on projects and procedures • Maintain a clean organized job site daily • Calm cool approach, clear, concise communication both verbally and in written form Minimum Requirements: • Minimum of 5 years building/project management/construction experience • Previous experience leading a team and proven ability to positively collaborate with team members • Valid WSDL driver’s license, reliable work vehicle, with ability to safely store tools and equipment • Must be punctual • Must be physically capable of performing the job, lift at least 25-50 lbs. throughout the day, on occasion more. • Ability to provide their own hand tools.
