Landscape crew member - part time to full time seek a team player with a strong work ethic who is willing to perform various types of outdoor work. we expect completing long- and short-term deadlines, have excellent communication skills, and contribute as a team player. This position has the opportunity for growth. Job duties include working with a crew of landscape staff and performing plant and sod installation, paver and retaining wall installation, tree protection, silt fence install and other outdoor services. The ability to lead, direct and coordinate the installation of landscaping projects is a plus. Spanish speaking skills are a plus. The capability of preparation of landscape design is not expected of this position, but familiarity with typical plants and methods is a plus. The ability to learn and identify plant species is a must. The conditions for work are what would be expected in Florida, including wet, buggy, hot or cold conditions with the potential for encountering native species including snakes, ticks and mosquitoes. Proper use of safety equipment and proper planning is expected to be of highest priority for staff. Excellent communication skills are necessary Punctuality and dependability are expected.
