Gated and fenced 40 unit apartment complex with a pool in the Redding area is looking for a non-smoking person to live on-site. Positively manage with the ability to problem solve. Team player and able to work in a positive manner with the main office in Redding. This position is for single or couple managers. Local main office will run credit/background checks and provide the lease agreement to tenants. Manager's resident apartment - Lower level 2 bedroom, 1.25 bath with gas stove deck/sliding glass door, 1 car garage and assigned parking space. We allow one small dog (no cats). This position provides housing, utilities and a small salary based on experience and duties. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS for consideration are: • Answer phone inquiries and respond to messages • Show vacant units • Collect Rent Payments & forward to corporate office (Redding). • Light Maintenance • Clean up garbage and debris on grounds, keep dumpster areas clean • Stay apprised of the communities needs regarding repairs and maintenance. • Assist tenants with complaints, issues, etc. • Enforce community rules and regulations. • Experience as an apartment manager preferred but will train • Strive for good resident/management relations, to retain desirable residents. Ensure the safety, comfort and privacy. • Competent with all phases of property management. • Valid driver's license and insured, operable vehicle. • Ability to pass a full background check.
