We are currently hiring for a warehouse position at our Merriam, KS office. The primary job responsibilities will be receiving, picking, shipping, and delivering parts to our local customers. Additionally, there will be cross-training on basic CNC operation as well electric gearmotor and pneumatic assemblies. This is a full-time position with the ability to learn and help with other functions as time permits. This position will require a valid driver's license, excellent attendance, and punctuality. It will also require some basic math skills, problem-solving, being comfortable learning new software programs, the ability to work autonomously, and attention to detail. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Forklifts and other lifting equipment will also be used regularly for larger items. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Product knowledge is not required, and previous experience is also not needed, but both will be considered in evaluating pay with compensation starting at $16/hr. Compensation can go higher based on experience. Hours will be 8 hour shifts within the hours of 7-5 M-F with a lunch break. Full-time will include a full benefits package.
