Floor Tech/Housekeeper Responsibilities • Clean, dust, disinfect, sanitize and empty trash in all areas of the facility daily • Follow infection control procedures for isolation cleaning using universal precautions • Collect/distribute clean linen; place soiled linen in proper containers following biohazard waste disposal procedures • Clean, maintain and monitor equipment; monitor, order and use linen in a cost-effective manner • Report broken, defective patient care/room equipment; complete work request for repairs Benefits for full-time employees are competitive and include health insurance, dental coverage, 401K and MORE! Floor Tech/Housekeeper Responsibilities • MUST be able to pass drug screening & background check • 6+ months of prior hospital housekeeping/janitorial experience or 1+ year(s) of experience related to this position • English proficient- read and write in order to read chemical container labels, order supplies, complete inventories • Considerable initiative and judgment needed to lead a housekeeping team in providing an aseptically clean environment • Knowledge of infection control, safety principles and SHARE training • Complete CPR certification and an Oceans approved behavioral health de-escalation program • High school graduate or equivalent preferred ~ Apply online today by visiting ~ ***Oceans Healthcare requires pre-employment drug screening/background check.*** Equal Opportunity Employer
