Large apartment community in Lompoc is currently hiring for a full-time Porter/Groundkeeper. Responsibilities: As a Porter/Groundskeeper you will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining the cleanliness of all exterior and interior common areas of the property. Your duties will include, but are not limited, to the following: cleaning interior and exterior common areas; checking and replacing exterior lighting; removing litter, debris and pet droppings from the grounds; removing abandoned furniture, trash and boxes; detailing property, including keeping trash enclosures, sidewalks and walking areas clean; repairing and replacing window screens; assisting with various physical tasks as directed e.g., digging holes, tearing down fences; assisting with interior and exterior touch-up painting; cleaning and maintaining storage areas; distributing resident communications; performing work area clean-up and safety related duties, and more. You will be expected to conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, state and federal laws, including but not limited to OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, Title VII, etc. Qualifications: • Must be a Motivated Team Player • Must be able to lift heavy items • Must consistently provide quality product and customer service to our Residents • Must be reliable and have good transportation • High-School Diploma or Equivalent • Must complete pre-employment physical and background investigation Due to COVID-19, we are minimizing the number of people in our office and are only accepting applications in response to this post.
