~*~*~*~*~START TODAY~*~*~*~* A reputable, RAPIDLY-expanding logistics company is looking for a Delivery Driver to drive OUR cargo van up to 6 days a week. Forklift experience a plus! Prefer a driver in East County as the Van will be located in Wood Village. We start early, late sleepers wont be a great fit! The Delivery Driver’s responsibilities include working to exceed client expectations on every assignment, every day by offering exceptional customer service and a high level of diligence and work ethic. This Driver will work with both the office and field staff to make deliveries in a timely manner per the specifications provided by clients. MUST HAVE valid driver’s license MUST HAVE current vehicle insurance MUST HAVE a smart phone capable of loading an app MUST HAVE A GOOD DRIVING RECORD! PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES **Deliver a high volume of packages (22 to 200 daily) **Load vehicle in a safe and appropriate manner **Follow a systematic and efficient delivery route per provided specifications **Maintain an open channel of communication with both clients and dispatchers **Follow all relevant laws and regulations relating to operation of a motor vehicle **Use a cellphone to scan packages and provide tracking information CAPABILITIES/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS: **Willingness to work flexible hours **Ability to meet delivery timelines **Ability to work independently with minimal oversight **Ability to adhere to safety standards and expectations (Masks required) **Ability to use technology to record delivery progress and scan packages **Willingness to openly communicate with customers and dispatchers PLEASE DON'T JUST SEND ME A RESUME, Tell me about yourself, where you live, your experience and your salary expectations.
