We are actively seeking a general handyman/carpenter's helper who takes initiative, exhibits competency and accountability, and is willing to learn and grow. You must be a planner and problem-solver who thinks globally and aims to ensure the success of the company and your teammates, as well as yourself. Your day-to-day tasks will include: Basic repair and installation tasks Door and window installation or repairs Crown molding, chair rails, wainscoting, base molding, stairs, railings, shelving, and trim Electrical fixtures, ceiling fans, GFCIs, outlets, switches, exterior lights, dimmers, ballast replacement and troubleshooting Faucets, sinks, toilets, showers, tubs, garbage disposals, shut off valves, ice makers, supply lines, drains, leaks and troubleshooting Lighting installation and troubleshooting Drywall repair and installation Painting and staining, interior and exterior Wood rot repair and other outdoor maintenance Kitchens, baths, basements, family rooms, bedrooms, dens, and basements JOB REQUIREMENTS Strong work ethic - we expect you to show up every day on time, ready to work Good, overall knowledge of multiple trades: carpentry, tiling, painting, drywall, flooring, siding, minor electrical & plumbing Own standard set of tools to perform all the above trades Professional appearance and demeanor Clean NC driver’s license a must Ability to pass a background check (No felonies) Ability to pass a drug screen
