Job Summary
Upstate News is looking for a Newspaper home delivery driver in the East Redding area to deliver the Record Searchlight. Monthly compensation is approximately $1400.00 per month. This route take 2 hours per day. This is an independent contractor position and will NOT be an employee of the company. You will need to have your own reliable vehicle, drivers license, car registration, Commercial car insurance and valid social security card. Independent contractors are small-business people; you will be responsible for your own expenses (gas, supplies etc). You will also be required to fulfill this contract 365 day a year in all weather conditions. Many independent contractors have substitutes for back-up. Delivery times are early mornings.
