Hello, my name is Mitch. I am the worship leader at Muldoon Road Baptist Church. I am looking for some awesome people for our worship and tech team. Covid has created a major dent in everyday living and the effect has been seen everywhere, including churches. Staying home, practicing social distancing, masking up, all that still continues today in 2021. I believe in this time, music and hope play a part in healing, mood, and overall wellness of people. I am looking for some individuals that would like to be a part of that. Many of our worship team and tech team members have had to stay home, move back home out of state, or simply distance themselves because they live with loved ones who have medical complications. So with that, I am looking for some volunteers to remake a constant worship team. The music is contemporary worship music with an occasional hymn thrown in but made contemporary as well. I like our worship to be loud and proud but also reflective at times when the atmosphere calls for it. We are not your typical Baptist church. We are a contemporary church with a Baptist foundation. Currently I am looking to fill the following volunteer positions: Immediate positions: Drummer Acoustic and Electric guitarist Bass guitarist Male or female vocalists Additional positions: Sound tech Video/streaming tech Graphics tech We are basically recreating a new worship team. I am looking for 2-3 of each position. If you have a talent in any of those areas above, and are looking for a place to help out, feel free to reach out to me.
