Flying Leap Vineyards is seeking a flexible, dependable, motivated, and quality-minded individual with prior truck driving experience to assist with deliveries to our wholesale customers and satellite tasting rooms. Position requires driving a company-provided 14 ft. box truck to deliver products and supplies to various locations throughout Arizona. A successful candidate must be polite and prompt with a commitment to providing our customers an excellent experience. Position Responsibilities • Collect, Load, Transport, and Deliver items to businesses in a timely, friendly and courteous manner • Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, and the customer is satisfied • Take and follow directions from dispatcher, layout efficient delivery routes, follow time schedules, to deliver packages to customers on time • Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles without interfering with operations at customer’s place of business • Provide excellent customer service and professionally answer questions from customers • Abide by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record • Assist in other warehouse-type duties as assigned Minimum Requirements And Qualifications • Current, valid driver’s license • “NO” DUI or other drug-related driving violation and/ or any driving-related offenses in the last seven years (e.g. hit-and-run, felonies involving a vehicle) on your driving record • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds items Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Ability to manage, organize, and account for multiple customer invoices and products making up a delivery • Ability to utilize a mobile device for purposes of navigation and route optimization • Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively, professionally, with tact and diplomacy • Ability to take and follow directions and work well with others as part of a team • Ability to work independently, be responsible for route, and work unsupervised most of the workday • Previous delivery driving experience is a plus
