First United Methodist Church of Northville is seeking a responsible individual who works well with minimal supervision, takes pride in a job well done and enjoys people. Position Summary: Responsible for the general cleaning of the church and restrooms including vacuuming, mopping, and emptying trash receptacles. Also includes removing snow from sidewalks and steps with a shovel and blower and salting all as needed, and setting up furniture and equipment for church functions. Additional duties as assigned. Flexible schedule working up to 24 hours a week, but the hours are subject to revision based on the changing needs of the church and staff. Skillset Required: Must be able to freely travel through church facilities, climb ladders, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend and reach overhead. Any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug test.
