Are you handy and good at repairing things? Then this may be the job for you!!! We are looking for a Self-Storage Maintenance Technician at our facility in Anaheim. REPORTS TO: Facility Manager, Marketing Manager & Corporate Office The Self-Storage Maintenance Technician is an energetic, outgoing self-starter who either has facilities management skills and experience or equivalent maintenance work experience. • Works collaboratively with the Facility Manager to successfully increase revenue through superior customer service and facility maintenance. • Responsible for cleaning vacated spaces and grounds. • Maintains a neat, clean, safe and secure facility, inside and out, including daily lock checks on units. • Works daily to maintain a clean property including cleaning and repairing container units. Evaluating major repairs on property and requesting repair proposals from vendors. • Conducts auctions as prescribed by law and approved by Management. • Ability to provide relief support for office employees, when necessary. • Opens and closes office on time, maintains and balances petty cash, makes daily bank deposits and prepares daily, weekly and monthly reports as required by Management. • Ability to lift 50 lbs. • Ability to understand automated gate system and security monitoring system. • Strong communication skills. • The ability to pay close attention to detail. • Employment is subject to satisfactory results of a background check. • High School diploma or equivalent • Non-Exempt • Maintains customer retention and customer satisfaction. • Contributing member of the facility team. • Displays good rapport and cooperation with management and fellow employees. COMPENSATION: The Maintenance Technician is an hourly position with additional bonuses offered upon the successful achievement of customer satisfaction and retention goals.
