Lathe Operator
Purpose:
This function loads pucks on the mills, adds the milling strategy to the milling computer, and removes pucks from the mill. Prepares physical dental records for scanning. The data is reviewed per workflow steps.
Requirements:
The Scanning technician should have a high school degree or equivalent. Computer skills are required. Prior experience in a manufacturing technician role, following work instructions, using plant manufacturing equipment and preferably a CNC mill is desired.
Main Tasks:
• Review work-order notes to verify correct puck size and shade.
• Select correct work order digital file.
• Load puck according to specifications
• Remove puck from mill.
• Prepare physical records for scanning.
• Read case notes in Client for customer requirements.
• Choose correct scan type per guidelines.
• Scan pieces in light scanner.
• Name files per naming convention.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Alert Manager of any repair needs of other areas of concern with regard to the facility.
• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Assist in manufacturing processes as directed.
• Assist in engineering processes as directed.
• Perform a variety of tasks to support the day-to-day operations of the business.
FT Hourly Position, 40 hours/week, Full Benefits Package and 3 weeks PTO annually!!!
