Hi, there. Since the pandemic began, I have mostly been indoors with the newest addition to my family: a baby girl (who is now 11 months old, woah)! Although being a new mother has the been the greatest gift, it has also been difficult because I miss going out in the world and I really miss teaching. I do not have mom friends with kids near my darling's age to socialize with. I also do not feel safe working in a school again and potentially bringing COVID home to my sensitive family members (none of us have had it thus far). So here's my best shot at socializing during a pandemic and maybe getting to teach too! My home is baby-proof and fully equipped with Reggio Emilia inspired layout and toys as well as various other educational mediums. RIELDS certified. I also have 12+ years experience with children of all abilities and have 3 psychology degrees. Posting in search of other moms in the area who maybe need help and would also like a mom friend who understands the struggle!
