We are looking for someone who would like to grow with us. The perfect candidate will be friendly, organized and fascinated by the plant world. Garden knowledge, creativity and special talents are a huge plus! We are seeking a seasonal gardener to help maintain gardens across Westchester. You will work alone or in a team with other gardeners. You'll spend your time in the field visiting a variety of gardens, recording notes, mulching, feeding, pruning, planting vegetable gardens and establish perennial beds. Experience is great, but we are more interested in your willingness to learn. The right person will be reliable, punctual and easy-going. Curiosity for plants and horticulture is a must. Requirements: - Able to lift 50 pounds or more - Friendly and discrete - Good time management skills - Full time seasonal job - Ability to take direction, prioritize and multi-task - Energetic, motivated and hardworking with attention to detail - Punctual, dependable and willing to work in all weather conditions - Clean drivers license
