Construction company located in Queens N.Y. looking for experienced site Foreman or Supervisor for a full time position on a project in Long Island City. Candidate should be well versed in reading construction drawings and have knowledge in all fields (Carpentry, Paint, Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Electrical...etc.). Candidate must have OSHA 30. Duties include but not limited to: Site supervision and organization. Coordination of all work. Writing daily logs. Adhering to all Covid guidelines. Maintain all safety standards and hold tool box talks. Moves, secures, installs, builds, loads, or unloads materials. Misc. demolition and various small tasks on site. Qualifications/Skills: At least 5 years experience in commercial construction. Reliable and able to work without supervision. Attentive to detail and alert at all times to ensure safety Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate effectively with supervisor.
