CULINARY ASSOCIATES/KITCHEN FOOD PREP STAFF $16.25 - $18.50 / hr. SEEKING CULINARY ASSOCIATES FOR FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES WORKING IN-HOUSE FOR A MAJOR FOOD DISTRIBUTOR! RESPONSIBILITIES: Measuring and scaling ingredients to fill ingredient bins for daily production (i.e. flour, sugar, spices, etc.) Cleaning, prepping, cutting, sorting, mixing recipes, etc. in a timely manner in order to keep the order of operations moving efficiently Picking/Packing and packaging food Cutting / knife skills are a PLUS! Must be able to read and understand written recipes (English) Knowledge of using measurement scales QUALIFICATIONS: Must have minimum 1 year experience in Food Prep, or in relevant kitchen departments; Kitchen, Bakery Butchers Food Prep Meat Seafood Poultry Produce etc. Must be able to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) Comfortable standing for long periods of time Comfortable working in various climates/work environments (38⁰ F. or colder depending on the department) Able to comfortably lift and maneuver up to 40lbs. consistently Required to wear oil and slip resistant shoes Willingness to learn SAP (warehouse management system) Bilingual English/Spanish is a PLUS!
