Hynes Landscaping is currently looking for a reliable and self-motivated individual to hire as a lawn care fertilizing professional. This includes servicing commercial lawns and commercial properties while providing accurate lawn analyses in your route. We are a solid company that is looking to continue growing our busy landscape business. This will be a fast paced, results driven position where organization, follow up and communication are crucial for efficiency in planning. Special attention to detail and customer service must be presented at all times. Required Skills: · MA Pesticide and Fertilization License · General knowledge of landscaping, lawn care, pesticide, equipment maintenance, pest control, weed control, horticulture, landscape maintenance, pesticide application, landscape design, turf management, turf/lawn mowing, herbicides · Works well independently and reports to Operations Manager/Account Manager · Ability to operate fertilizer equipment · Excellent interpersonal skills · Advanced problem-solving skills · Proven time management · Valid drivers license and medical card · Ability to carry up to 50 pounds Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Applying fertilizer, treating weeds and performing other professional applications · Interacting with customers and ensuring top-of-the-line service · Accurately diagnose and measure lawns to provide recommendations and lawn care quotes · Ensuring products are ordered timely and appropriately · Daily reporting requirements of clients serviced and timekeeping (through daily job and time sheets) · Current product knowledge and concentration amounts to apply product effectively to gain maximum results · Able and willing to work in various weather conditions for long periods of time · Proper use of personal protection equipment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour based upon experience Overtime available. Some Saturdays may be required.
